About Aurélie Lynch
Fluent English speaker, I have been permanently living in Brighton and Hove, East-Sussex, in the South-East of England since 2005.
MA in English Literature, History and Linguistics obtained in 2003 at Sussex University in Brighton (Erasmus exchange with Paul Valéry, Montpellier University). An important part of my degree was focused on linguistic studies and translation.
I have a long-life passion for cinema and literature which drove me to write my master's thesis on the subject (« "Les Liaisons dangereuses" by Choderlos de Laclos: the Theatrical and Filmic Adaptations. » ) after which I decided to study for an additional BA in Film Studies which I obtained in 2004.
I then gained 12 years professional experience in the High-Tech industry as a Recruitment Consultant before moving into translation. My experience in recruitment allowed me to acquire fluency in technical and business languages in both French and English.
Each project I work on is treated as a priority and with the utmost attention to detail.
